I’ve decided I’m going to set myself a challenge: I am attempting to write a post everyday this month. Why you may ask..to be honest my husband asked me the same question. Well here is why:
*I have set myself challenges in the past and have quite happily miserably failed at them,.
*I am beginning to become lazy, each evening sitting in front of the TV once the girls are in bed and Arjun is fed, changed and medicated.
*I want to develop my writing and communication skills and the only way to this is by writing more and more, hopefully one day this will help me develop into a freelancer so I can finally leave my job.
*And finally, I want to start writing my book, a book about our journey with Arjun, exploring the differing attitudes towards, disability, marriage and the modern British Asian world.
Don’t get me wrong, I also want to increase my DA score so that I will be taken mores seriously in the PR and Blogger community, which is really difficult in such a crowded and cliqued community.
Some of my blogs posts maybe short, but that isn’t the point , the point is that I am writing something everyday.
I’m hoping that creativity will take me out of my rut, heal some of my anxiety and depression but most of all remind me of what I enjoy doing and that I may just (possibly) be quite good at it.
So how have I planned this?
Lists, research and contemplation have resulted in 14 days of ‘ideas’ so far for content.
I’ve read around several experts in the blogging community and this is what I’ve realised
‘WRITE ABOUT WHAT MAKES YOU HAPPY’
Creating content isn’t easy but if you can write with passion then that’s what you should be writing about.
This is exactly what I intend to do. I may even approach others to write for me too! A few collaborations are recommended too.
